"Cotton, on the other hand, while it can absorb sweat and moisture from the skin, it is more likely to hold onto the moisture and not dry as quickly, leaving the sweat in prolonged contact with the skin," she explains. Although, some cotton fabrics may be specially treated to make them moisture-wicking.

Adidas Unveils New Trefoil Third Kits For Man Utd And Arsenal Ahead Of Premier League Season
The iconic trefoil jersey has been revived for the third shirt of five major European clubs ahead of the 2024/25 season

Adidas has unveiled the return of its iconic trefoil kits for five major European clubs ahead of the 2024/25 season. The German sportswear brand has designed five all-new third jerseys for Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus to commemorate its upcoming 75th anniversary.
Each shirt features the brand’s classic trefoil logo, which replaces the three-stripes Performance logo. The shirts for Man Utd, Bayern Munich, and Juventus also have unique club crests that replace the traditional versions seen on the club’s current home and away kits.
The new kits were launched in a multi-club release featuring legends from each club, with Rio Ferdinand, Patrick Vieira, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Alessandro Del Piero, and Zinedine Zidane coming together to model the shirts. Announcing the new release, Adidas said: “Over the past few decades, the Adidas trefoil has come to represent the latest in contemporary street style and, since 2000, has been used exclusively for Adidas Originals collections and limited-edition jerseys designed for off-pitch wear.

“With the 75th anniversary of the brand approaching in 2025, Adidas is bringing it back to the pitch, not only with a nod to its status in the history of the sport but also in recognition of the increasing role fashion plays in the contemporary game.”
The new Man Utd 24/25 Third shirt has a red, white, and black tricolor flag emblazoned across the chest and on the back of the neck beneath a seasonal crew-neck collar featuring the words ‘Manchester United’. The traditional club crest has been replaced by the iconic club devil, while the trefoil logo makes a return to a United shirt for the first time since the 1990s.
The Arsenal 24/25 Third shirt is touted as a modern take on the beloved 90s iconic kits that feature a ‘bold [and] fashionable’ lilac and aqua design, combined with a ‘hint of nostalgia’. It has a crew neck collar, matching sleeve detailing, and cannon crest, which Adidas says ‘combine to create a vibrant, eye-catching look’.

Fans of each club can pick up their new trefoil Third shirt from Fanatics. Both the Man Utd Third shirt and Arsenal Third shirt are available for £80, with the Man Utd Authentic and Arsenal Authentic shirts coming in at £110.
Long-sleeved editions are also available for Man Utd and Arsenal for £85. Female fans can buy their Man Utd Women's Third shirt and Arsenal Women's Third shirt, or the Man Utd Women's Authentic and Arsenal Women's Authentic shirts for the same prices.
Football fans can also bag the new Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus Third shirts from Fanatics. Elsewhere, Kitbag is offering football fans free shirt printing on select shirts in a deal that saves £15.
Shoppers can select their team’s shirts, choose their size, and add customization with their favorite player’s name and number at no extra cost. The deal is available on both Man Utd and Arsenal’s new 2024/25 Home shirts, which are priced at £75 and £80 respectively.
